The Billings Wildcats weren't kind to the home team in a visit to Seymour last Friday for a varsity baseball matchup.
Billings scored 12 runs in the game's first three innings en route to a 13-1 decision over the host Tigers in the five-inning contest.
Seymour managed only a single hit in the game, a single by freshman Luke Rasmussen, while the Tigers' lone run came in the third inning and was scored by sophomore Derek Akers.
Akers and freshman Brayden Baker drew walks in the contest, while seniors Scott Helms and Brock Pearce reached base after being hit by a pitch.
Taking the pitching loss for Seymour was junior Payton Bryant, who drew the assignment against the talented Billings squad that is undefeated this fall.
Bryant went the full five innings, allowing 12 runs (11 earned) on 15 hits. He struck out four and issued three walks.
The loss dropped Seymour's fall record to 1-2.
Next action for the team arrives at 4:30 p.m. this Thursday when Conway visits.
