The men and women recently elected to the Missouri House of Representatives were sworn-in to their offices on January 6, 2021. Representative Hannah Kelly, who was first elected in 2016 to represent Wright County and a portion of Webster County, also began her two-year tenure as the Assistant Majority Floor Leader of the House Republican Caucus. Following the swearing-in ceremony, Representative Kelly released the following statement:
“I am so honored that the people of my district entrusted me to continue serving them for the next two years. I am also honored that my colleagues in the House entrusted me with the role of Assistant Majority Floor Leader. This new position provides the opportunity to work alongside House Speaker Rob Vescovo and Majority Floor Leader Dean Plocher to move forward legislation that reflects Missourians’ values. I look forward to working with all Republicans in the House to make state government work better for Missouri’s families and businesses.”
Representative Kelly is from Norwood and represents the 141st House District. In addition to serving as State Representative, Kelly is an active broker for Century 21 Properties based in Mountain Grove.
