Funeral services for Chyanne Nicole Kastning of Rogersville and formerly of Seymour were held Oct. 21, 2020, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour.
Burial followed in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of the funeral home.
Ms. Kastning, 20, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was born on Nov. 6, 1999.
She was raised in Seymour and was a 2018 graduate of Seymour High School.
After high school, she worked for a time at the Seymour Price Cutter and then moved to Rogersville, where she was currently employed at Taco Bell.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Benjamin Johnson, Sherry Cauble and her husband, William Scott Cauble; her great-grandparents, Lyle and Sonya Hood, Alice Hood, Keith and Ida Kastning; and two cousins, Taylor Deain and Michael Kastning.
Survivors include her boyfriend, Jake Martin of Rogersville; her parents, Lyle Kastning, Ashley and Dustin Wesenberg, all of Seymour; her two sisters, Mabel Kastning and Lynden Dunlap; her two brothers, James Kastning and Liam Wesenberg; her paternal grandparents, Scott and Janice Kastning; her aunt, Elizabeth and Darren Deain of Greenwood; her two uncles, Scotty and Rachel Kastning of Seymour and Jason Shehorn of Lavonia, Ga.; several cousins and great-aunts and great-uncles.
