- Truck stolen on Halloween

Floyd "Junior" Lockmon had his dark-blue Ford F-250 truck stolen during or just after Halloween.

Floyd Lockmon wants his truck back.

Lockmon, known as “Junior” to all who know him, didn’t have a good Halloween at his home at 502 Matney Hollow Road, located about a mile northeast of Seymour.

Between 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, and 7:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, Lockmon’s truck was stolen, along with several of his chainsaws.

“It’s pretty upsetting,” Lockmon said.

“Living around here, you just don’t expect something like this happening.”

Stolen was his 2005 Ford 3/4-ton, F-250 model truck.

The dark-blue truck has a deer mural in its back window.

Cab lights are on the truck.

Also taken were three chainsaws, including one Echo 550P model and two Echo 400 models.

“I know it’s probably a long shot, but I’m hoping that there’s someone out there who knows where my truck is at or who took it,” Lockmon said.

“We had insurance. But until that’s settled, I’m without a truck. And I’d rather just have my truck back, along with my chainsaws.”

Leads on his truck’s theft need to be given to the Webster County Sheriff’s Department at 417-859-2247.
