In a continued attempt to monitor the spread of COVID-19 throughout the region, the Webster County Health Unit announced expanded COVID testing opportunities for area residents.
The Health Unit encourages you to attend an upcoming free testing event, whether you are experiencing symptoms, or not.
Health Unit Nursing Supervisor, Lisa Tindall, points out that “Community testing events such as this can provide you helpful information to better protect yourself and your family.” She added “It also provides extremely valuable information to public health officials for monitoring COVID-19 transmission in Missouri.”
Drive-thru testing in Seymour will be held on Monday’s in September beginning September 13th. Nurses from the Health Unit will offer testing from 9:00-10:00 am, behind the FEMA Safe Room at 700 E. Clinton Ave. No registration is required and anyone may attend.
In addition to testing services, the Health Unit staff will offer COVID-19 vaccination while in Seymour.
Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available.
