The city of Seymour’s annual fall citywide cleanup arrives early next month.
Specifically, the event starts on Saturday, Oct. 3, and continues through Sunday, Oct. 11.
It is free for all businesses and residents inside Seymour’s city limits.
City officials said a new rule concerning the event was put in place last Thursday night by the Seymour Board of Aldermen.
Everyone bringing items to the cleanup must present a city utility bill to prove residency or ownership of a city business.
Hours are from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. all nine days of the cleanup. The collection site is at the city’s electric shed, located between Division and Frances streets, just south of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks.
