A fish fry at the Seymour Senior Citizens' Center will be held in conjunction with Gary Sosniecki's book signing Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the historic Owen Theatre in the city's downtown.
Sosniecki's book signing starts at 7 p.m. that evening.
There is no cost to attend.
Prior to that, the local senior center will hold a fish fry from 4 to 6 p.m.
It will be held inside the center, located on the west side of the Seymour square.
Served will be fish, baked beans, coleslaw, hushpuppies, dessert and a drink.
Fish will be cooked by several local senior-citizen volunteers.
Cost to eat is $7.
All proceeds will go to the local center.
Also at the Sept. 22 event at the senior center, many excess books will be sold, organizers said.
Five hardback books will be sold for $1, while the price for 10 paperback books also is $1.
