- Seymour library building

Thank you to everyone who took their children on the “StoryWalk” during the Seymour Apple Festival. It was so much fun to watch the children’s faces.

We are planning another one soon.

The library is making changes almost daily. Come in to see what is new and different.

We are in the process of getting online Reading Challenges set up, so keep an eye out for that. Overdrive/Libby is another program we are working on getting set up.

Book Talk meets monthly on the fourth Friday of each month. Come in to see what it is all about.

MOEvergreen http://moevergreenlibraries.org is adding libraries every month or two. We now have over 5-million items available for check out. There is a phone application for MOEvergreen.

Soon a TeleHealth station will be set up in the conference room for privacy when talking to your healthcare provider.

More information about that is coming, as well.

The Friends of the Seymour Community Library will not have a first Monday book sale in October. Instead, we will have our fall one-week-long sale, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 11 through Oct. 15. We hope to see you all there.

Winter will be here soon, so come get a supply of books for your winter reading.

The Seymour Community Library Board meeting is set for 6:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11.

The Friends of the Seymour Community Library meeting is set for 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18.

Both meetings are held in the library’s conference room and are open to the public.
