You may have heard of John Jacobs.
He’s the founder of the Strength Evangelist Concept and The Power Team, now called the Next Generation Power Force.
He has held more than 3,000 crusades in 40 countries.
His team has held more than 30,000 public-school assemblies in the U.S. alone, where he frequented many of the world’s largest churches, including the Potter’s House with T.D. Jakes and the Lakewood Church with Joel Osteen.
He’s been featured on CNN, “People” magazine and on almost every major television network.
Twenty years ago, Chuck Norris attended one of Jacobs’ crusades, where he accepted Christ. As a result, CBS did an entire episode of “Walker, Texas Ranger” featuring Jacobs and his team.
Jacobs is coming to Seymour.
He’ll visit the Seymour First Baptist Church, located at 605 West Mack Road, on Sunday, Oct. 4, with a message of hope to lift the world for all who attend.
Two services are set.
The first is at 10:15 a.m.
The second follows that evening at 6 p.m.
Jacobs’ Next Generation Power Force will visit Seymour to help share his message at an event that’s open to everyone, church officials said.
When he visits the Seymour First Baptist Church on Oct. 4, Jacobs will share his powerful story that since the beginning of his ministry has seen more than a million people come to know Christ at his crusades.
