The Seymour Community Library has new hours.

Previously open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. five days a week due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Seymour Board of Aldermen voted 4-0 to change the facility’s hours because classes at the Seymour R-II School District will resume on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

The new hours, effective today (Wednesday) are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 1 to 6 p.m. on Fridays.

The library is located on East Clinton Avenue (Business 60), across from the Seymour Middle School.

Joy Hume and Teri Myers are the city’s librarians.
