Although COVID-19 didn't allow them to play a game this spring, three members of the Seymour High School varsity baseball team were named to the all-Summit Conference baseball team for the 2019-20 season by league coaches in voting held late last month.
Named to the first team were senior Carson Sturdefant and junior Nathaniel Hosiner.
Sophomore Payton Bryant earned honorable-mention accolades.
Tiger head coach Jason Duey said league honors were based on statistics from the 2019 fall season.
Bryant, Hosiner and Sturdefant were the squad's top-three hitters last fall.
