Four members of the Seymour High School boys’ cross-country team earned medals Oct. 7 at the annual Conway Invitational.

The top fi nisher was Jackson Bull, who won the junior-varsity race with a 3.1-mile time of 22:23.

Two others earned medals in the jayvee race.

Kenneth Lang posted a time of 25:34 to place ninth, while Andrew Simpson was 14th at 40:58.

In the varsity boys’ race, Seymour sophomore Bryson Benson was 10th in a fi eld of 75 runners with a stellar time of 18:57. He also earned a medal.

Felix Cantrell was 40th with a time of 21:17.

Daniel Akers placed 62nd in 23:44.

Mackenzie Roderick competed in the girls’ varsity race and placed 48th in 30:33.

Three from the Seymour Middle School competed.

For the girls, the top finisher was Elizabeth Lang, who had a time of 13:56 on the 1.5-mile course. She placed 45th in the 83-runner race.

Next was teammate Olivia Kyle in 58th at 15:01.

For the boys, Samuel Lang was the lone competitor.

His time was 14:02, good for 70th place in a field of 90 runners.
