Commencement ceremonies for the graduating class of 2020 at Seymour High School will be held on Saturday, June 27, at the high-school gym.
The actual graduation begins at 6 p.m.
Doors open at 5 p.m.
There is no cost to attend.
The aforementioned actions became official last Thursday night at the regular meeting of the Seymour R-II Board of Education.
In addition, Superintendent Steve Richards said that as of now, there are no restrictions on those who attend the event.
"As of now, we plan to do everything normal, as we've done in years past," he said.
"However, one adjustment that we may have is that we limit the graduation to 10 tickets per student. In other words, each graduate would get 10 tickets to distribute to those who they wanted to attend graduation."
But Richards said that as of now, that scenario isn't likely.
"We're optimistic that graduation will be held just as it's been held in years past. That's the plan. And if there is a change to that plan, then we'll let the public know immediately," he said.
