Szanto wins McDonald's National Employee Scholarship

The Seymour McDonald's restaurant was recently thrilled to learn that local employee Daniel Szanto, third from left, from Fordland was one of 50 National Employee Scholarship winners of $2,500 throughout the U.S.

Szanto was graduated from Fordland High School last Friday and as a McDonald's employee, he qualifies for up to $2,500 per year in additional scholarship funding for this college education through the Archways To Opportunity college-tuition reimbursement program. Daniel's older brother, Jeremiah, received the scholarship last year.

Daniel will join Jeremiah this fall at Missouri.

Science & Technology University in Rolla this fall to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. Above,
