To anyone 21 and over without your diploma, have you ever wondered what it would be like if you could just have the chance to go back to high school and achieve that goal?
I know I did every day of my adult life.
Now, what if I told you that you could?
There’s an amazing group of people in Springfield who want to help you achieve your goal. The Excel Center in Springfield wants you to.
It’s a credited school; they pull your transcripts from your last high school to determine the credits you need to graduate.
There’s free childcare, too!
The teachers are great; the students, amazing. We’re all here to cheer you on and help you through your journey.
I encourage anyone and everyone who doesn’t have your diploma, but wanting it, to at least give them a call and talk to them.
Even if you’re
in Springfield and want to pop in for a tour before making the decision, they welcome that, too.
“The Excel Center is the perfect place for anyone over the age of 21 to obtain a real high-school diploma for free,” Director Joseph Cole explained. “I know many people may be afraid to take that first step because they may not have great memories about school, but we here at Excel are so much more than a school! With a daycare, college credits, certifications, day and night classes all offered free of charge, we create a new life for many and become a family.”
The number to call is (417) 862-5005, and the address is 1514 South Glenstone Avenue in Springfield. They have a website as well, www.mersgoodwill.org.
My life has changed dramatically since going back.
