Funeral services for Michael Lee Camp of Fordland were held Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery of Rogersville, under the direction of the funeral home.
Mr. Camp, 67, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in his son’s home.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1951, in Springfield to William Carl and Mary Lee Pepper Camp.
He grew up in Cave Springs and attended Willard schools.
He worked at Boyd Aluminum Manufacturing Company in Springfield for 20 years. He then worked at Hutchens Industries in Seymour for nearly another 20 years before retiring in 2014.
He was an avid outdoors man and really enjoyed backroading, hunting, fishing and camping in his spare time.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Nancy Hicks and Carol Camp; and a brother, Keith Camp.
Survivors include his two daughters, Patricia Womack and husband Tony of Dogwood and April Kastning and husband Bobby of Seymour; his son, William Camp and wife Wendy of Fordland; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his brother, Wyman Camp of the state of Arkansas.
