Funeral services for Venita Edith Harvey Hyder of Seymour are set for 10 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday), May 21, 2020, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour. Burial will follow in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., tonight (Wednesday), May 20, 2020, in the funeral home.

Mrs. Hyder, 81, died Sunday, May 17, 2020, in her home.

She was born on Sept. 3, 1938, in Fordland to Raymon Lowell and Hollie Edith Johns Harvey.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Jimmie Dale Hyder; a son, Bradley Jay Hall; two daughters, Barbara Janette Hall and Cynthia Lynn Hall; a grandson, Michael Hall; three brothers-in-law, Harold Scott, Ronnie Scott and Bill McNish; and her sister-in-law, Sheryl Hyder.

Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Ince of Ozark and Katharine and Gary Whitehead of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Lowell and Joan Harvey of Cassville and Jack and Judy Harvey of Springfield; a sister, Joanna Wilkerson of Seymour; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Scott, Carol Scott and Sandra McNish; and a brother-in-law Dennis Hyder.
