The annual rabies clinic sponsored by the city of Seymour arrives Saturday, June 29.
Held a month later than usual this year, the event was established decades ago by Dr. Louis Tochen, a beloved local veterinarian.
The clinic on June 29 runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the Seymour Fire Station on East Clinton Avenue, located at the corner of North Cordie Street.
Vaccinations for rabies cost $9 and will be given by Dr. Sally Burd of the Graff Veterinary Clinic.
An option of one-year or three-year rabies shots will be given.
Other vaccines are available at the June 29 clinic for cats and dogs.
