BREAKING: Missouri Gov. Mike Parson plans to order the banning of gatherings of 10 or more people. In a news conference in Jefferson City that just ended, Parson said that it does not include churches or shutting down businesses. More details are to be released on Saturday.
The briefings will be live-streamed on Governor Parson's Facebook page.
Similar measures were taken last night (Thursday) by the Seymour Board of Aldermen as all gathering of 10 or more people, including churches, were prohibited by an ordinance approved in a 4-0 vote. Exempt are businesses, although businesses are urged to promote social distancing.
