- Downtown flowers

Brady Brooke of the electric department

Courtesy of city of Seymour employee Theresa Mitchell, the eight flower pots on the four corners of the city square have new flowers.

Mitchell worked into the night with her two children last week to plant all eight pots.

Courtesy of the city, those flowers now are watered daily, typically by Brady Brooke of the electric department early every morning on days he is on duty.

The flowers are part of an ongoing city project to beautify the downtown business district.
