During the time period from June 2 through July 5, the Seymour Police Department answered 311 calls for service, issued 53 traffic warnings and 42 summons, and seven people were booked in at the Webster County Jail in Marshfield.

• Assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s Department in looking for a missing 7-year old female on Harmony Road. Female located.

• Warrant arrest on Davis Street.

June 3

• “911” hang up on Cantrell Street.

• Medical call, 1-year-old female seizing. Treated by EMS.

• Call about people burning cardboard in town; fire put out.

June 4

• Complaint made about speeders on Center Avenue.

• Responded to a disturbance on North Division Street.

June 5

• Motor-vehicle accident at Center Avenue and North Cordie Street.

• Drugs located from a residence in town.

June 6

• Assisted Webster County on a DFS call.

• Suspicious activity on Peightel Street.

June 7

• Call for service, suicidal subject on Clinton Avenue. Subject transported by EMS.

• Break-in was reported at Seymour Liquor & Tobacco.

June 8

• Ongoing situation on Washington Street, people moving out.

• Subject arrested off traffic stop on warrants. Led to another arrest of a female subject in Wright County.

June 9

• Investigations of two break-ins.

• Call made for information about ongoing civil situation on Washington Street.

June 10

• Call for juvenile wandering around streets on Anderson and Frances streets. Juvenile returned home to parent.

• Medical assist at senior housing.

June 11

• Webster County assisted in locating runaway juveniles in the area of Finley Falls. They were located at McDonald’s and returned to their parents.

• Complaint about cameras on Ventura Drive.

June 12

• Disturbance at Renne’s Place. Subject was mad at the fact the workers were wearing a mask.

• Motor-vehicle accident on U.S. 60.

June 13

• Assisted citizen in getting in contact with a deputy to have a check of well being done.

• Medical assist reported on Anderson Street.

• Respond to a call for an assualt, which occurred at Hillcrest Apartments.

June 14

• Careless and imprudent driver on U.S. 60 was going westbound in the eastbound lanes.

• Call about an individual providing alcohol to minors.

June 15

• Checked well being on Anderson Street.

• Made contact with two people walking behind South Park after dark.

• Complaints about people parking poorly and excessive noise on the square.

June 16

• Checked well being on Washington Street.

• Dog complaint on East Washington Street and C Street.

June 17

• Went to McDonald’s as fake bills were being used.

• An ex-parte violation on Frances Street.

June 18

• Complaint about littering at the cemetery.

• Medical assist on Steel Street, juvenile choking. Was transported by EMS.

June 19

• Assisted Webster County in looking for a missing person at Day Cemetery on Highway K.

• Checked on suspicious vehicle at South Park.

June 20

• Call about a water line breaking on North Commercial Street.

• Noise complaint on Garfield Aveune.

June 21

• Checked well being on Ventura Drive.

• Complaint of fireworks being set off in town.

June 22

• Responded to an assualt call at Lucky Lumber.

• Report of a stolen bike. The bike was located and returned to owner.

• Disturbance on Commercial Street, two subjects were arrested.

• Motor-vehicle accident, leaving the scene at McDonalds.

• Suspicious activity on Boardwalk Street, two subjects caught on surveillance cameras.

June 24

• Checked well being on Garfield Avenue.

• Made contact with subject who was intoxicated on the side of the road.

June 25

• Motorist assist on U.S. 60 and Clinton Avenue. Semi broken down at the stoplight.

• Call for someone beating on the door at Dynomite Fireworks after hours.

June 26

• Motor-vehicle accident reported at U.S. 60 and Clinton Avenue.

• Noise complaint on South Water Street.

June 27

• Call for kids fighting at the Lee Binley Memorial Park.

• Warrant arrest made at Hot Spot.

June 28

• Took two reports for stealing. The suspects were observed on security camera. Ongoing investigation.

• Checked on suspicious vehicle at South Park.

June 29

• Investigation of stealing.

• Ozarks Harwood Pellet factory on fire.

June 30

• Assisted Webster County with a stolen vehicle from R&D Country Garage.

July 1

• Assisted with blocking traffic on U.S. 60 for Vietnam Veterans Memorial transport parade.

• Checked well being on Commercial Street.

July 2

• Assisted in blocking off roadway for moving of the house on Center Avenue.

• Noise complaint on the square.

July 3

• Complaint about trash being dumped at the South Park.

July 4

• Complaint about fireworks being set off.

• Assisted a citizen in looking for their dog that ran off.

July 5

• Responded to assist with traffic control for a fire in the median on U.S. 60.

• Call for two subjects fighting on the square.
