During the time period from May 4 through June 1, the Seymour Police Department answered 234 calls for service, issued 32 traffic warnings, 48 summons, and four people were booked into the Webster County Jail in Marshfield.

May 4

• Made contact with two subjects loitering at the Mercy Clinic on Steel Street.

• Assisted with blocking traffic and storm clean up on Main Street from roof being blown off old MFA building.

• Noise complaint on Center Drive, workers advised they were working on getting the house ready for excavation.

May 5

• Assisted the Springfield Police Department in recovering stolen items, which were located in the city.

• Made contact with several homeowners about junk and debris on property.

May 6

• Dispute between neighbors on Center Avenue.

• Lost phone returned to owner.

• Suspicious activity on North Peightel Street.

May 7

• Assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s Department on a traffic stop where arrest was made involving drugs.

• Medical assist on Van Every Street.

• Helped broken down motorist push their vehicle out of traffic.

May 8

• Contacted about a subject doing burnouts in the First Baptist Church parking lot. They were still there when officers arrived because unfortunately their vehicle broke down.

• Checked well being at Taco Bell.

May 9

• Assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s Department with subject that was resisting arrest on Highway O.

• Responded to a fire call on Hillcrest Drive. Officer helped EMS rescue female from the house.

• Located a runaway juvenile. May 10

• Contacted about a domestic disturbance that happened on Highway K.

• Complaint about a dirt bike on Rhodes Avenue.

• Assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s Department with a disturbance on Forrest Drive.

May 11

• Call about a black car hitting a power pole on Davis Street due to reckless driving.

• Warrant arrest was made from traffic stop.

May 12

• Dispatched to a disturbance on B Street. The parties were separated.

• Drug arrest made from traffic stop.

May 13

• Gas drive off from Hot Spot.

• Checked on suspicious vehicle at South Park.

May 14

• Assisted with a rollover wreck on Highway BB.

• Stoplight not working at Clinton Avenue and U.S. 60.

May 15

• Dispatched to help with water rescues on Pleasant Hill Road.

• Medical call on Peightel Street.

May 16

• Motor-vehicle accident and U.S. 60 and Division Street.

• Medical call on Washington Avenue.

• Medical call on Summit Avenue.

• Disturbance at Casey’s on Loveland Street.

• Careless and imprudent driver on U.S. 60.

• Complaints made about a barking dog on Washington Avenue.

• Helped a motorist who lost a load of wood at U.S. 60 and Clinton Avenue.

• Assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a jeep on side of road on Highway C and Highway AB.

• Medical call on Puryear Street.

• Suspicious activity on South Frances Street.

• Report of a stolen cell phone from the Seymour Price Cutter.

• Domestic disturbance at 536 West Ventura Drive.

• Made contact with subjects at South Park late in the night.

• Warrant arrest from traffic stop at the bank.

• Motor-vehicle accident at U.S. 60 and Loveland Street.

• Returned lost checkbook to a citizen.

• Complaint about an older model S-10 speeding.

• Assisted with traffic control on a motor-vehicle accident at Highway C and Highway V.

• Car-vs.-buggy accident at Skyline Road. No injuries.

• Call about abandoned vehicle at McDonald’s.

• Assisted with traffic control for a rollover moto-vehicle accident at U.S. 60 and Highway A.

• Extra patrol made on Water Street for rodeo.

• “911” hang-up call on South Division Street.

• Called about a small ground fire near the library. Fire was put out.

June 1

• Warrant arrest.

• Assisted the Webster County Sheriff’s Department with a pursuit on motorcycle on Water Street.

• Called about a disturbance at Family Dollar. Subject giving false identification to buy tobacco.
