A two-vehicle accident late last month on Highway K south of Seymour resulted in a Seymour man being taken to a Springfield hospital.
Trooper T.V. Mosley of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at 8:05 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24, when a southbound 2007 Pontiac G6 car driven by 26-year-old Brittany R. Wright of Seymour "was making a left turn from Highway K onto Goss Cave Road with an inoperable turning signal" about three miles south of Seymour.
As Wright was turning, Mosley said a southbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by Seymour's Tallana N. Carter, 18, "was overtaking (Wright's) car and struck the car on the left side." After the impact, Wright's car traveled off the road and overturned, the patrol report said.
Carter and Wright weren't injured, Mosley said.
However, a passenger in Wright's car, 25-year-old Zachary T. Jinzo, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
All three people involved in the accident were wearing seatbelts, the report said. Mosley was assisted at the scene by Trooper Austin James.
Yates Boys Towing of Seymour removed both vehicles from the accident scene, the patrol report concluded.
