A two-vehicle accident on Highway BB, just two-tenths of a mile south of Seymour, resulted in a 19-year-old Seymour man sustaining minor injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Trooper Austin James said in his radio report that at 5:10 p.m. last Tuesday, Jan. 7, a southbound 1994 Jeep Cherokee sport-utility vehicle driven by Quinton A. Loveland, 19, of Seymour "crossed the center line and struck" a northbound 2003 Jeep Liberty vehicle that was driven by Stanley O. Bryan, 70, also of Seymour.
Bryan wasn't hurt, James' report said.
However, Loveland sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
Both vehicles were insured, and both motorists were wearing their seatbelts, the patrol report said.
Both vehicle were towed from the accident scene by Yates Boys Towing of Seymour.
