Seymour police report logo

During the time period from April 20 through May 3, the Seymour Police Department answered 96 calls for service, issued 11 traffic warnings and 18 summons, and three people were booked into the Webster County Jail in Marshfield.

• Contacted citizen about junk and unlicensed vehicle on property.

• Complaint about male writing on building windows on square. Subject removed writing on windows.

April 21

• Possible marijuana found and turned in.

• Report taken for hit and run.

• Ongoing neighbor dispute on East Washington Avenue.

• Medical assist.

April 23

• Medical assist.

• Assisted Webster County Sheriff Department with an assault off Highway NN.

• Motor-vehicle accident, U.S. 60 and Clinton Avenue, with injuries.

April 24

• Report taken for a stealing on North Charles Street. Investigation ongoing.

• Checked well being.

• Complaint about neighbors burning trash on Center Avenue.

• “911” misdial.

April 25

• Birthday drive by with fire and sheriff’s office.

• Complaint of a four-wheeler on Commercial Street.

• Assisted the Mansfield Police Department with suicidal subject they were transporting at Casey’s on Loveland Street.

April 26

• Helped a citizen with information on an ex-parte.

April 27

• Citizen wanting to report their dog running away.

• Careless and imprudent driver on U.S. 60.

• Noise complaint made on Frances Street.

• Cow out on Highway C at city limits.

April 28

• Checked well being.

• Citizen wanting to advise of a scam call.

• Assisted at the Seymour Safe Room with tornado warning.

April 29

• Assisted with gathering information and passing on Webster County Sheriff’s Department about a scam report.

• Returned credit cards to owner, which were left at a local business.

April 30

• Disturbance on B Street.

• “911” misdial.

• Natural-gas leak on Commercial Street. Blocked off road. Line was hit during demolition of home.

• Checked on suspicious person at South Park.

May 1

• Motorist assist on U.S. 60 and Star Road.

• Report of subject loitering at the Mercy Clinic.

• Arrested subject on a warrant.

• Complaint of a fou-wheeler on Melinda Street.

• DWI arrest.

May 2

• Complaint about people racing on U.S. 60 from Fordland heading towards Seymour.

• Vehicle was blocking a driveway on Garfield Street.

• Assisted Webster County Sheriff’s Department with a dog hit on the highway at U.S 60 and Highway O.

May 3

• “911” misdial.

• Assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol in locating subjects from a hit and run.

• Disturbance reported on Washington Street.
